As the name implies, Screenshot Captor allows the user to take screenshots, which are nothing more than snapshots of one's computer screen. Screenshot Captor is set apart, though, in its versatility. It can be used to take screenshots of a section of what's on your screen, an entire web page - the scroll feature is great! - or even your entire "space", including your open windows, desktop, and so on. Filters and effects make manipulating your captures fun and easy. Other great features include a zoom so powerful you can see an image's individual pixels, a slick interface, and the automatic generation of thumbnails for all your captures.

Pros

As discussed above, Screenshot Captor is a really great, lightweight utility for the taking and manipulation of screenshots. It is full of features, easy to learn and use, and best of all, it's free!

Cons

This utility is Windows-only, and it does tend to fall short when it comes to the presence (or lack thereof) of a robust "undo" capability. Some users may find the interface a little dated, or else have issues with a learning curve.
